CREDIT & REWARD PROGRAM

JPLI offers students a variety of opportunities to earn credits for their studies. For example, our official certificate can and has been used for recognition in both academic and professional environments.

Requirements for Credit
Our credit reward system is based on five elements:

• Attendance (15%): Students who don't miss any classes in one section will gain points. However, students who miss more than two classes will lose 2 points for every class missed).
• Class Participation (15%): Student participation will be based on the quality of their contribution to ongoing class discussion as well as success in leading the discussion in a productive, analytical way.
• Homework (20%): It is highly recommended to complete your homework on time. Credits will be given depending on the quality of work. Late and/or unfinished homework will result in points lost.
• Quizzes (5%): Courses will have occasional quizzes or exams to test student progress.
• Cultural Events (10%): JPLI holds cultural events to help student learn more about the language and the culture that he/she is interested in. Students who participate in these events can earn additional credit.

Reward Opportunities

• Consistency: Students who are constantly registered at JPLI's classes will be considered for education scholarship.
• Sponsorships: Students and/or parents who refer JPLI's program to interested friends or family members who are not current students can get rewards if the referee continues to participate in the program as a registered student.
