Legal & Compliance Disclosure (F-1 Regulations)
- JP Language Institute is authorized to issue Form I-20 to eligible international students for the purpose of applying for F-1 student visa status, in accordance with U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulations.
- Issuance of Form I-20 does not guarantee approval of an F-1 visa. Final visa decisions are made solely by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. consular officers.
- All government-mandated fees (including SEVIS and visa application fees) are subject to change based on U.S. federal regulations and are non-refundable once paid.
- Students must maintain full-time enrollment, make satisfactory academic progress, and comply with all F-1 regulations, including address reporting, program completion timelines, and employment restrictions.
- Failure to comply with F-1 visa requirements may result in termination of SEVIS records and loss of lawful student status.
- JP Language Institute service fees, deposits, and application fees are non-refundable, regardless of visa approval outcome, withdrawal, or denial.
- Estimated tuition and housing costs are provided for budgeting purposes only and may vary based on individual circumstances, institutional changes, and external factors.
- Students are responsible for additional expenses not listed above, including but not limited to meals, transportation, health insurance, books, and personal expenses.
