She is very nice and always prepared to teach the class. It is very is to enroll. Miss.Pi is wonderful and very easy to talk to. She also gives very good advice on studying a new language. Driving 40 minutes to come here is really worth it. Steven Stallone
starstarstarstarstar 1 review 3 years ago JPLI is a very high quality learning school with teachers who are very educated and use effective learning techniques to help you remember and understand the language concepts explained. Classes are held usually in groups and are focused on the language of your choice. The languages include Chinese, Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Russian. The classes are held once and week and are 2 hours per single session. Private lessons are also available if requested. As for myself, I took (and still are) taking the Japanese classes that are held by Professor Takahashi for a several semesters. Professor Takahashi's classes are very informative and not only teach you the elements that make up the Japanese language such as Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji, but also teaches you cultural elements (ex. holidays, customs, life). Before you enter the class, you will be given the JLPT test which tests to see where you stand as far as your Japanese language learning ability. After that, you will be placed into either Beginner, Intermediate or Expert classes depending on how you did on the test. I definitely would recommend JPLI to someone who is looking for a good school to learn languages at. |

10 reviews • 0 photos starstarstarstarstar 7 weeks ago Miss Pi helped me work my way from a rudimentary understanding of Mandarin Chinese to a student who passed HSK Level 4 within 18 months of study and is now growing a business in China. Miss Pi, who is the program coordinator at JPLI, is also one of the Chinese instructors. While we began our study during the pandemic via Zoom, it was as rigorous a course as I have ever taken. Miss Pi would push the envelope on what we learned, always entertained any questions I had, very often went over our allotted class time to provide extra study, and even pushed me towards learning to read Chinese – something I did not believe I could achieve at the start. She is a teacher who truly cares for her students, and I imagine she is as dedicated to her students success as a program coordinator. If you want to learn a language effectively from some of the finest teachers you could ever work with, give JP Language Institute a call! Their dedicated and talented roster of teachers go above and beyond for their students, and I greatly credit my success to Miss Pi and the rest of the JPLI team. Thank you! Dulce E Medina Rodas

Shout out to my teacher, she is amazing and does an incredinle job teaching and keeping us interested in learning the language. I have been taking Japanese & Chinese language courses for more than a year here, and I've seen improvements in both language communication skills and my parents are very pleased and proud of my progress. I chose this linguistic school because the pacing and method of teaching utilized are far superior to any other schools, specially the small class size and customized curriculum. JPLI will be the perfect choice if you wish to learn a new language or sharpen one you already have. I truly enjoy my study here and I hope you can too. Raquel Gad
