Program Destinations
Barcelona (Catalonia) Barcelona is known for its extraordinary architecture, Mediterranean atmosphere, and vibrant urban culture. Students will explore iconic landmarks such as the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, two of Antoni Gaudí’s most famous works, while also experiencing the city’s dynamic artistic and coastal character. Madrid (Capital of Spain) As Spain’s capital, Madrid offers students a strong introduction to the country’s political, artistic, and historical life. Highlights include visits to the Prado Museum, one of the world’s leading art museums, the Royal Palace, and Retiro Park, part of Madrid’s UNESCO-recognized Landscape of Light. Seville (Andalusia) Seville offers an unforgettable immersion into Andalusian culture. Known for its deep connection to flamenco, historic neighborhoods, and monumental heritage, the city gives students an opportunity to experience the spirit of southern Spain. The Real Alcázar and Seville’s broader cultural landscape make it an ideal destination for historical and cultural study. Granada (Andalusia) Granada is home to the world-renowned Alhambra, one of Spain’s most significant historic monuments, as well as the atmospheric Albaicín neighborhood. This stop offers students a powerful look at Spain’s Islamic, Christian, and multicultural historical legacy. The Alhambra complex includes the Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces, Partal, and Generalife, and official guidance recommends advance planning for visits.
