The open to all middle school, high school & university students as well as college graduates! JP Language Institute offers opportunities to study in Japan whether you speak Japanese or not. Through close interaction with Japan’s landscape, culture, and folklore, students will experience modern Japanese culture and enhance their communication skills . There are a variety of program options available to meet the diverse needs and individual focus of each student. Course duration is programmed in accordance with our partner schools’ requirements, ranging from 4-weeks, 6-weeks, semester to academic year. |
Tuition & Fees - 2023
Application Fee (non-refundable)
Regular application fee:
$80 JPLI students
$145 Non- JPLI Students
(December 15, 2022 - February 28, 2023)
Late application fee:
$65 (On and after March 1st - March 20, 2023 )(Note: Late application will be accepted only when spots are available.)
Program Fee: US$3,800, It is included- tuition
- main teaching materials and course supplies
- housing (Please see Homestay for more information about housing.)
- extracurricular activities
- a pocket Wi-Fi
- COVID-19 infection prevention products
Medical Insurance during Your Stay in JapanThe program requires all participants to obtain medical insurance to cover possible loss, illness or accidents for the duration of the program. It is strongly recommended that you purchase one that also covers expenses related to COVID-19.

You will also need to budget for a number of expenses not covered by the program fee. The amounts listed below for these out-of-pocket expenses are approximate, and you may incur additional expenses not noted here. Your actual expenses will depend on a number of factors, including personal spending habits and currency exchange rates. Note that expense categories–especially airfare–may be subject to significant fluctuations.
