The "Study in China Program" promotes cultural and educational exchange, fosters friendships, offers opportunities for students to study Mandarin Language and Culture in China,whether you speak Chinese or not.
Age groups (two groups):
Group 1.High school & College student ( age 14 up).
Group 2.Mid-school students age 11 -13 yrs.
LONG- TERM PROGRAM
Currently, there are more than thousands of international students from different countries studying Chinese language and culture in the universities each term. The faculty at the College of Chinese language and culture consists of permanent members, including professors and associate professors.The faculty has doctoral degrees majoring in Chinese language, foreign languages, education, psychology, philosophy, history and finance.With a high quality of teaching, the Colleges have received acclaim both nationally and internationally.

SHORT- TERM PROGRAM
The universities summer holds short-term Chinese classes during spring and summer holidays every year. If you would like to set-up a short-term language or culture class (no fewer than 15 people per class), please contact our International Office directly.The short-term Chinese program also provides elective classes such as: calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, Tai Chi, martial arts, paper-cutting etc. A minimum of 20 people are required to start a class. The costs are 25- 50 RMB/hour/person; these costs are not included in the tuition fees
PROGRAM INSTITUTIONS ( Choose your favorite location/School)
A. Class placement
The Summer Program mainly offers language lessons for three levels’ language learners: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each level may be further divided according to specific conditions of the learners, for instance, the beginner level may be further divided into Absolute Beginner, Intermediate Beginner, Advanced Beginner, and so forth. Class divisions shall be done according to the results of the placement test. Each class consists of approximately 15 students and beginner class less than 5 shall be closed.
B. Class Arrangements
Course content: Each level has Reading & Writing and Listening & Speaking courses, as well as Chinese culture courses, twice a week, include Experiencing Chinese Culture (involving calligraphy, Chinese painting, Chinese music, paper cutting, and so on) and Chinese Kung-Fu.
Course schedule & objectives: Each class hour, we will learn one lesson and students in beginner, intermediate and advanced level will learn around 10, 20 and 30 words. After this program, normally they can pass HSK1, HSK3 and HSK4 respectively. Some students in advanced level could pass HSK5.

Applications are accepted and reviewed on a continual basis until the program is full. May 25, is the Application Deadline, and June 1st is final deadline for current year. Applications will be accepted for the next year starting November 1 of each year.
▪ Students who are presently attending school in the U.S. should be in good academic standing with minimum GPA of 2.8
▪ No Previous Chinese language skills are required.
▪ Student who are willing to observe Chinese laws and regulations, as well as the school regulations.
