ABOUT OUR PROGRAMThe "Study in China Program" aims to promote cultural and educational exchange, cultivate friendships, and provide opportunities for students to study Mandarin Language and Culture in China, regardless of whether they already speak Chinese or not.
LONG- TERM PROGRAM Currently, there are more than thousands of international students from different countries studying Chinese language and culture in the universities each term. The faculty at the College of Chinese language and culture consists of permanent members, including professors and associate professors.The faculty has doctoral degrees majoring in Chinese language, foreign languages, education, psychology, philosophy, history and finance.With a high quality of teaching, the Colleges have received acclaim both nationally and internationally. (1) 2023 Chinese Government Scholarship- U.S Students Program Available for a. graduate (Bachelor) b.Undergraduate (Master and Doctor) More info SHORT- TERM PROGRAM The universities and some of private schools hold short-term Chinese classes during spring and summer every year. If you would like to set-up a short-term language or culture class (no fewer than 15 people per class), please contact our International office directly. The short-term Chinese program also provides elective classes such as: calligraphy, traditional Chinese painting, Tai Chi, martial arts, classical instruments etc. A minimum of 15 people are required to start a class. |

COURSE INTRODUCTION
A. Class placement
The Summer Program mainly offers language lessons for three levels’ language learners: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each level may be further divided according to specific conditions of the learners, for instance, the beginner level may be further divided into Absolute Beginner, Intermediate Beginner, Advanced Beginner, and so forth. Class divisions shall be done according to the results of the placement test. Each class consists of approximately 15 students and beginner class less than 5 shall be closed.

In our classes, we offer courses on reading and writing, listening and speaking, as well as field trips. These classes are conducted in the morning Monday to Thursday and cover a wide range of topics, which includes activities like calligraphy, Chinese painting, playing Chinese classical instruments, learning about Chinese herbal medicine, and exploring architecture. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to learn Chinese Kung-Fu. The number of words that beginner, intermediate, and advanced level students can expect to learn is approximately 10, 20, and 30 words, respectively.
