KIDS MANDARIN CHINESE PROGRAM

Students will develop the four core language skills — speaking, listening, reading, and writing — through immersive lessons in Chinese language and culture. The program integrates songs, classical poems, and cultural activities to enhance memory, creativity, and appreciation of Chinese traditions.
Covering the five key elements of Mandarin — tones, pinyin, grammar, characters, and structure — the curriculum builds a strong foundation for fluency and academic growth. Upon completion, students may earn college credit or scholarship eligibility, supported by official certification from both China and JP Language Institute.

Introductory Chinese consists of four to eight eight-week sections (approximately 8–16 months in total), depending on each student’s age and learning ability. Students will engage in short readings, dialogues, and situational conversations on familiar topics such as school life, travel, family, and hobbies. |
Intermediate Chinese consists of four levels. 201, 202, 203, 204. Each level consists of four eight-week sections (approximately 8 months), it builds upon the foundational skills acquired in the Introductory level, focusing on improving students’ fluency, comprehension, and written expression. |
Advanced Chinese is designed for students who have completed the Intermediate level or demonstrate equivalent proficiency. The program deepens mastery of complex grammar, idiomatic expressions, and formal writing, while enhancing students’ ability to engage in extended conversations, presentations, and literary analysis. more info ---> |

By the end of the program, students will be able to read and write short paragraphs, communicate effectively in everyday situations, and analyze cultural themes presented in stories, songs, and classical poems. |
Over the course of four levels of study, students will strengthen their understanding of grammar, sentence structure, and character composition, while expanding their vocabulary and cultural knowledge. |
By the end of the program, students will be able to communicate with confidence in both academic and cultural contexts, compose structured essays, and interpret classical and modern Chinese texts with cultural insight. Graduates of this level may qualify for college scholarships and official certificates jointly issued by China and JP Language Institute. |
