ABOUT THE PROGRAMS The programs structured in a small group of study with flexible schedule for adults to enhance their communication skills in professional field , and for high school and middle school students to unlock their potentials for future academic study or career. The certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete all required courses for each proficiency level (approximately 64-hour) . The courses in this program are continually updated and rotated in the summer, spring and fall. Those who complete the certificate program may choose to pursue further studies in college, or advance career for better capabilities and opportunities. |
Getting Certificate Started
No formal application is required to pursue a certificate. Once you’ve completed all required courses with satisfactory grades, you can request the certificate.
Be sure to request the certificate within 30 days of when grades are notified to you. |
Three Sections Requirement
Students must complete three sections within one years from the first day they start taking applicable courses towards their certificate. See chart below for specific start and completion semester information.

Grade Requirements
Students must earn a grade of B, B+, A-, or A in a certificate course in order to have it count toward the certificate. Courses in which a student has earned a grade of B- or below cannot be counted toward a certificate.
