Introductory Spanish
The Introductory Spanish (Course code: SPAN100) program is divided into four sections, each lasting eight weeks with two-hour sessions every week. The curriculum focuses on essential conversational, listening, writing, and reading skills. Students will explore important topics such as greetings, personal introductions, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, shopping, directions, and medical assistance. Basic grammar, including verb conjugations, will be extensively covered.
After completing all four sections, students will have developed a solid foundation in communication skills that can be used within a Spanish-speaking community. In addition, their skills will be equivalent to Novice High level or A2B1 of CEFR's standard. |
